I would like to start this forum off by saying "Thank You" to everyone for all of the positive response I have been receiving pertaining to the Frankfort Place website. This site was just a small project I started many months ago but didn't get serious with it until this last November. Since then I have received numerous e-mails from people not only in Frankfort and the surrounding communities, but from former Frankfort residents that now live in other parts of the country. It has become almost like a portal to the past and a common ground for everyone who was born here, grew up here or moved from here.
My objective is to provide the tools to gather history of Frankfort's past and share it with all.
Although Frankfort Place was a personal project of mine, I do want everyone's input on how to improve it. If you have an idea, just let me know. I have so much more photos and old home movies yet to be put on the site. It is very time consuming but I will keep working at it as long as everyone is enjoying it. I think what fire's me up more than anything is the fact that there are so many people enjoying Frankfort Place. It is reflected in all the e-mails I am receiving.
